Huis Jabes functions under the SOS Trust, whose trustees provide strategic, legal, and financial oversight to ensure responsible management of all resources. We are not just a shelter; we are a full rehabilitation centre for survivors of domestic violence.

Adri Klindt, founder of Huis Jabes, established the organisation with a clear purpose: to provide a safe home, counselling and structured support for women and children escaping domestic abuse in Cape Town. As a trustee, she continues to lead with compassion and conviction, guiding Huis Jabes in restoring dignity, rebuilding lives and creating pathways to independence for vulnerable families.
FRANCOIS LAURENCE
TRUSTEE
Francois Laurence serves as a trustee of Huis Jabes, contributing to the governance and sustainability of the organisation. His involvement supports the continued delivery of safe accommodation, counselling and rehabilitation services for women and children affected by domestic abuse. Francois plays an important role in ensuring that Huis Jabes remains a trusted and impactful support structure within the community.

TRUSTEE
Riaan de Lange is a trustee of Huis Jabes, supporting the organisation’s mission to provide safety and long-term support for women and children in crisis. Through his role in governance and oversight, he helps ensure that Huis Jabes continues to deliver meaningful impact through structured care, counselling and rehabilitation programmes in Cape Town.
