Help ons om meer plek vir hoop te maak

Help Huis Jabes raise R1 million by December 2027 towards expanding our safe house with two additional en-suite bedrooms for women and children escaping domestic violence.

At Huis Jabes, our safe house is almost always at capacity. Sometimes, this means turning away women and children who desperately need a place of safety.

We want to change that with your help

Our proposed 69 m² extension will allow us to welcome more women and children and offer them the safety, care and support they need to begin rebuilding their lives. For those who come to Huis Jabes, safe accommodation is more than a roof overhead. It is a place to find some stability, begin healing and take the next steps towards a different future. These two additional bedrooms will help us extend that opportunity to more families.

How You Can Help

 Make a donation.

Please contribute to our BackaBuddy fundraiser campaign. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to creating more safe accommodation. Qualifying donations are tax-deductible under Section 18A, and tax certificates are available.  Click Here to make a donation.

Give your time or skills. We would welcome help from people willing to contribute their expertise to the extension, including:

  • Architects and draughtspersons
  • Engineers and quantity surveyors
  • Project managers
  • Builders, plumbers, electricians and other skilled tradespeople
  • People who can assist with fundraising or sourcing donated materials

If you can offer your time, skills or services, please contact Huis Jabes to discuss the project’s current needs and how you could help. Email us info@sostrust.co.za

Spread the word. Share our campaign with friends, family or colleagues. You may help us reach someone who can contribute.

Whether you give money, time or a helping hand, your support matters. Together, we can make more room for hope.

With appreciation,
Adri Klindt
